Applicants should have experience working with their preferred age range, with strong classroom management abilities (particularly for the younger groups). They should be able to provide feedback on student writing, in terms of overall scope and flow as well as the crafting of individual sentences, in a detail-oriented but encouraging manner. Additionally, teachers will be asked to assemble and execute lesson plans based on broad, project-oriented guidelines for the term.

Approximate schedule:

• For elementary grades: 1 hour/day, 5 days a week, morning
• For middle school: 1.5 hours/day, 5 days a week, afternoon
• For high school: 1.

5 hours/day, 3 days a week, afternoon Summer teachers who work well with the students may be invited to teach after-school writing classes during the 2026-2027 school year.
