Kindergartern English Language Arts Teacher Boca Raton, FL 33432 $25

  • Part-time, Full-time Small private school hiring a certified English Language Arts elementary teacher for a Kindergarten class.
Must have a minimum of 3 years' classroom experience, a friendly disposition, positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills. Must include references, must be passionate about ELA, and must love teaching children. Must be very organized and consistent, able to manage a classroom and keep to a schedule. Flawless English is a must. Must be familiar with IXL and NWEA Mapgrowth.
Responsibilities:
Incorporate all aspects of ELA (reading, writing, comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, grammar) with poetry, fiction, non-fiction, social studies, and math related vocabulary. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote literacy and language skills in students. Manage classroom dynamics to create a positive learning environment. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly. Proctor standardized testing three times per year. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster collaboration. Provide support and mentorship to students, including those with special needs. Utilize technology and resources to enhance learning experiences. Set up and proctor standardized testing 3 times per year. Conduct parent-teacher conferences. Contribute to students' report cards. Post daily photos, videos, announcements, and reminders on the school's communication platform. Flexible hours , options include: daily 1.5 hours per day or 1 day per week 8am
  • 3pm Position to be filled immediately, with work commencing August 21, 2026.
