K5-10th Grade Instructional Personnel - Must demonstrate proof of qualifications in accordance with Section 1002.421(1)(h), Florida Statutes. You must show proof of any one of the following requirements: Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or completed transcript) Three or more years of K-12th grade teaching experience Special skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies you to provide instruction in K-12th grade subjects (provide documentation such as certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.). Head of School / Academic Principal Position Summary Potential Christian Academy is seeking a dedicated Middle School and High School Teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year to teach students in 6th and 10th grade within a Christ-centered academic environment. The ideal candidate will help students build strong analytical and problem-solving skills while integrating biblical principles into instruction. Responsibilities Teach middle and high school English courses, including literature, grammar, composition, and writing. Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and real-world application. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects. Maintain accurate records of grades and student performance. Foster a positive, respectful, and disciplined classroom environment. • Communicate regularly with parents and school administration regarding student progress. •Establish and maintain clear expectations for behavior and academic performance. Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and chapel services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred). Teaching experience at the middle or high school level preferred. Florida teaching certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to Christian education and the mission of Potential Christian Academy.
