  • Global Leadership Academy is seeking a qualified and passionate 4th Grade ELA/Social Studies Teacher to provide standards-based instruction and support student achievement in literacy and social studies.
The ideal candidate will create an engaging classroom environment, build strong reading and writing skills, and foster critical thinking about historical and civic concepts. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver standards-aligned ELA and Social Studies instruction using Florida B.
E.S.T. Standards Develop and implement lesson plans that support reading comprehension, writing, and content knowledge Foster critical thinking, discussion, and analysis of historical and civic topics Assess student progress and use data to inform instruction and interventions Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress Collaborate with teachers, instructional coaches, and school staff Participate in professional development and school meetings Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Valid Florida Elementary Education Certification (K-6) Knowledge of literacy and social studies instruction Strong classroom management, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications
  • ESOL Endorsement Reading Endorsement Work Schedule
  • Monday through Friday 8-hour shift In-person position Benefits
