If you hold an unexpired, out-of-state, professional educator certificate in this subject area, please apply for Florida reciprocity.
English Major:
Commonly accepted bachelor's (or higher degree) majors for a Florida temporary educator certificate include: English, Literature (English), Creative Writing, Language Arts.
Other Majors:
For other degree majors, passing the FTCE Subject Area Exam in English 6-12 is required.
