Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for an English Second Language Instructor, based in St. Augustine and Jacksonville, FL. The Instructor will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging English language lessons tailored to diverse proficiency levels. Daily tasks include creating curriculum materials, conducting interactive and effective lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a supportive learning environment for adult learners. Collaboration with other instructors and contributing to an inclusive classroom culture are also key aspects of the role. Qualifications Strong expertise in English Teaching, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and Teaching Proficiency in Curriculum Development and lesson planning Knowledge of Linguistics and its application to language instruction Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience working with adult learners and cross-cultural communication is highly desirable Certification in TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA is preferred Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, English, or a related field
