Located on the southeast Atlantic coast in Brunswick, midway between Savannah, Georgia and Jacksonville, Florida, the College of Coastal Georgia is an undergraduate college in the University System of Georgia with an additional outreach through the Camden Center in Kingsland, Georgia. This is an applicant pool for teaching in the Department of Arts and Humanities during the 2026-2027 academic year. Applicants will be reviewed on an as-needed basis and hiring may occur up to the start date of a given semester or session. Responsibilities Responsibilities - The successful candidate will teach courses contingent on the needs of the College. Essential duties include maintaining office hours, preparing lesson plans, lectures, and other course materials, and providing timely feedback to assignments and student inquiries. The successful candidate is expected to submit final grades and attendance reports as requested and to comply fully with CCGA and USG policies. Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Must have completed a masters degree in English or a masters degree in a related field with eighteen semester hours at the graduate level in English, Rhetoric, or Composition. Required Experience Successful record of post-secondary teaching Preferred Qualifications Preferred Experience Two years of post-secondary teaching experience in English, Rhetoric, or Composition. Evidence of recent, successful post-secondary teaching experience in first-year composition, developmental English, and learning support are preferred.
