SY Position Summary:

Lebanon CUSD #9 is seeking a passionate and dedicated Junior High Teacher who holds required endorsements in ELA/SS. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, support academic growth, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Junior High English Language Arts courses
• Provide instruction in Social Studies
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Assess student learning and provide timely feedback
• Create a classroom environment that supports student engagement and growth
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration
• Participate in professional development and school activities

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License
• Endorsement in English Language Arts/SS required
• Strong classroom management and instructional skills
• Commitment to student-centered learning
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
