English Teacher for Middle and High School

Kindi Academy in Lisle, IL is growing and we're looking for dedicated faculty members to join our strong team of passionate educators for the 2026-2027 school year! We're hiring for a dedicated and highly motivated English Teacher to work with Middle and High School to instill a love of reading and writing with their students! Kindi Academy is a vibrant educational institution committed to nurturing academic excellence and holistic development. Our faculty is dedicated to fostering a love for learning and critical thinking skills in our diverse student body. Some of the general responsibilities we look for in our candidate are: Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth. Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on student progress. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and school-wide initiatives. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student performance and academic growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and/or English (Masters and Doctoral Degrees in English, Rhetoric, or Literature also strongly encouraged to apply). State teaching certification/license (Preferred) Classroom experience of at least 3 years is highly advantageous Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
