Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Prep English Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in their early language development journey. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and support children in building foundational literacy skills. As a Prep English Teacher, you will play a vital role in cultivating a love for learning while developing essential language competencies in a vibrant educational setting. Duties Develop and implement creative curriculum plans tailored to early childhood education standards, emphasizing literacy, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in English. Utilize innovative learning technologies to enhance classroom engagement and facilitate interactive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles. Conduct regular tutoring sessions to reinforce language concepts and provide personalized support to students needing extra assistance. Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages active participation. Incorporate additional languages such as Mandarin, French, or Japanese into lessons to promote multilingual awareness and cultural appreciation. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessment strategies, and curriculum development to ensure cohesive educational experiences. Engage with children's families through communication about progress and strategies for continued learning at home. Qualifications Proven experience in classroom management within early childhood or preschool settings, demonstrating strong organizational skills and patience. Background in teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), literacy education, or early childhood education with an emphasis on language acquisition. Familiarity with curriculum development tools and learning technologies that enhance student engagement. Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds, including those requiring special education accommodations or childcare support. Multilingual abilities such as Mandarin, French, or Japanese are highly desirable to enrich the classroom environment. Strong writing skills for lesson planning, student assessments, and parent communication. Prior experience working with young children in preschool or early childhood education environments is preferred. Pay:
$44,524.20 - $53,620.55 per year
