The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages students to develop academically, socially, and emotionally. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to support each child's learning journey. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, inclusivity, and active participation. Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, projects, and observations. Provide individualized support to students with varying needs, including those with special education requirements or autism. Collaborate with colleagues in curriculum development and share best practices for teaching methodologies. Mentor students to encourage personal growth and academic achievement. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Incorporate physical education activities into the curriculum to promote health and wellness among students. Skills Strong understanding of childhood development principles. Experience working with students on the autism spectrum is highly desirable. Proven experience in curriculum development tailored for elementary education. Ability to provide effective tutoring for students needing additional academic support. Knowledge of special education practices and regulations. Experience in private school settings is an advantage. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal abilities to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
