The Role English Teacher (Maternity Cover) The successful English Teacher will be able to teach English Language and Literature across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the ability to teach Key Stage 5 being advantageous. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging and effective English lessons. Develop creative and stimulating lesson plans that cater to a range of learning abilities and encourage a love of reading and writing. Monitor student progress and provide targeted support to help students achieve their full potential. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence to succeed. Contribute to the wider life of the English department and school community.
