Job Description

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are hiring an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to our clients in Needham, MA.

Job Information:
Two individual classes for children, back-to-back lessons requested
Ages:
11 & 8 years old
Availability:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm / Prefers afternoons Preferred start date:
ASAP Lesson Frequency:
5x per week
Lesson Duration:
1:30h
Lesson Location:
Needham Heights, MA 02494 (2nd Ave and A St.) Preferred platform: F2F Current target language level: Beginner Native and other spoken languages: Portuguese Student's language needs and goals: To help her transition smoothly by improving her language skills, supporting her social and cultural adaptation, and making it easier for her to build friendships and feel confident in her new school environment.
Additional Information:
She enjoys pop music, especially artists like KATSEYE and Bruno Mars. She is also passionate about sports, including roller skating, basketball, and volleyball, and she loves dancing.
Responsibilities:
Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications:
To have native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language To have a degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field To have a minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
