Job Description

Emerson School is seeking a full-time second-grade teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek an experienced, talented, team-oriented candidate to design and deliver an enriched, developmentally appropriate second-grade program. They will be responsible for sharing the planning of the curriculum and collaborating closely with two other teachers at the same grade level. This position reports directly to the Lower School Director.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree required; preferred areas of study and experience include language arts
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior Teaching experience Experience working in Independent Schools Strong communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, students, and families. Strong language arts background, while being well-versed in other curricular areas.
