Full Job Description Building:
Dakota High School Employment begins 2026-2027 School Year All inquries regarding vacancies should be directed to the Human Resources Department at 586-723-2090.
Qualification:
Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with NS (English as a Second Language) endorsement, preferred. Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with educational plans to obtain NS endorsement within 5 years, required. Must be Highly Qualified to teach English as a Second Language. Experience working with diverse student populations preferred. Interest in working in supplemental athletics and/or academic activities preferred. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job duties, including but not limited to understanding and following safety instructions, responding appropriately to emergency situations, completing documentation, and interacting with English-speaking staff, students, community and supervisors, required.
