: ELA Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a valid Michigan teaching certificate in BA or
BX RESPONSIBILITIES
: Must follow district and state curricula and assessment requirements. Knowledge and ability to effectively apply the Common Core Standards with particular emphasis on the teaching, learning and assessment standards. Ability to work collaboratively as a team member of an effective Professional Learning Community (PLC) Ability to use data to formulate and monitor instruction. Knowledge of Positive Behavior Interventions & Support (PBIS). Knowledge of and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool to enhance teaching and learning. Knowledge of and commitment to use formative assessment as an instructional tool to enhance teaching and learning. Knowledge of and ability to implement on a regular basis cooperative learning strategies and flexible grouping strategies. Willing to work with a special education teacher as an inclusion classroom. Follow and implement all Board of Education policies, administrative guidelines and building regulations. Willing to perform other duties as necessary and/or directed by the principal. Attendance is an essential job function for this position.
