Building Principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
  • with appropriate endorsement(s). Must be Highly Qualified in English (BA/BX
  • Secondary).
Demonstrates teaching and leadership skills, as well as strong written and oral communication skills. Must meet No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Standards. Demonstrates the ability to use technology to enhance teaching and learning: technology integration into the curriculum.
RESPONSIBLILITIES
Plan, prepare and deliver instructional activities. Create positive educational climate for students to learn in. Provide grades and administer assessments timely. Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities. Provide on-going communication to parents on student progress and classroom activities. Manage student behavior in the classroom by invoking approved disciplinary procedures. Practice proper classroom management techniques. Engage students in learning process, differentiate as needed. Other duties as directed.
