Job Description

General Summary:
The Classroom Composition Facilitator reports to the Associate Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction and provides classroom support services as requested.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze and consult with building principals and teachers in an attempt to develop classroom composition resolutions at the site. Serve as a resource for individual teachers working on classroom composition concerns. Complete all paperwork to process a classroom composition concern. Meet with the Classroom Composition Committee (could include teacher/principal) representing the classroom needs. Serve as a resource person to the Classroom Composition Committee. Serve as a resource person to individual teachers as requested. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Minimum of four years' successful teaching experience. Effective oral and written communication skills. Experience with high needs students in inclusive settings. Observation skills/background.
