Teacher - English and Language Arts

Saint John the Baptist Catholic School in Savage is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Language Arts teacher to join our faculty team! You will work collaboratively with other faculty members to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic success, critical thinking, and creativity.

Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated instruction in accordance with state and diocesan standards Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and respect for others Build strong relationships with students and families, providing ongoing communication and support Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that integrates faith, values, virtues, current standards, and real-world experiences Foster a safe and welcoming environment that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of all students Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current in best practices in education Actively contribute to the life of the school community, including participation in school-wide events, committees, and campus initiatives
