Job Summary Hamilton Middle School is seeking a dedicated and passionate 7th Grade English teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for reading and writing while fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. This full-time position requires a commitment to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and curriculum goals.
• Teach a variety of English language arts topics, including reading comprehension, literary analysis, writing skills, and vocabulary development.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through formal and informal assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners, including those with special needs and English language learners.
• Foster a supportive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and open communication among students.
• Integrate technology into the curriculum to enhance learning experiences and promote digital literacy.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and trends in English language arts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and contribute to a cohesive school culture.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Supervise students during lunch, recess, and other school activities as needed. Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid Montana teaching certification or license in English Language Arts for middle school.
• Proven experience teaching English at the middle school level is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of middle school curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Proficient in using technology for instruction and student engagement.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
• Passion for teaching and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of students.
• Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check per School Board policy.
