Job Description

Under the general supervision of the Director for Multicultural Workforce Development & Outreach, the applicant must demonstrate mastery in the areas of English Communication. Be able to communicate with Spanish speaking students in Spanish. Ensures that all necessary documents are kept current and delivered in a timely manner Ensures that accurate and current materials are being used in the classroom Prepares and updates materials/outlines for adult learning styles Performs other job-related duties as assigned Confidentiality is extremely imperative. Brunswick Community College follows FERPA guidelines Must be able to teach: English reading, writing, and communication Knowledge of the use of phonetics, and grammar. Assess students in order to create a learning program for each student. Evaluate or test students, either formally or informally to determine if students are progressing. Help students with improving their English Communication skills. Be able to speak basic Spanish for explanation purposes Be able to teach in Leland during the evening and on Saturdays. Have a Bachelor's degree
