Position:
Teacher English Language Arts (Grades 9-12)
Salary:
State Salary Schedule for Licensed Teachers
Minimum Certified Teacher Pay Term:
10 Months Full-time
Benefits:
This position provides full time benefits including, earned annual leave, sick leave and health care benefits
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor's degree from an approved education program in subject area Masters in English is preferred but not required Must have NC Teaching License or have qualifications to obtain a NC teaching license through a recognized teacher education program Must understand North Carolina Course of Study/Common Core and Essential Standards Experience teaching English at high school level is preferred Other duties as assigned by Superintendent, Principal or designee including but not limited to extracurricular assignments Multi-certified preferred but not required
