Job Overview:
Lebanon Middle School is seeking a full-time 7th & 8th grade language arts teacher for the 2026-2027 school year and beyond. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build relationships with students, staff, administration and families, and the ability to work as a collaborative team member.
Job Goals:
  • To assist in articulating a continuous instructional program and learning environment which will enable each student to master language arts appropriate to age, grade level, and individual ability.
  • To assist with the coordination of district Language Arts assessment, data review, and suggested program revisions.
  • To assist in the evaluation and revision of district Language Arts programs and curriculum.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education.
  • Master's degree in education is a plus.
  • NH Teaching Certification in 5-8 English Language Arts

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 15 pounds. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay:
Based on LEA Collective Bargaining Agreement Salary Schedule.
