Part-Time Language Arts Teacher Foxman Torah Institute - 3.0 Cherry Hill, NJ Job Details Part-time $80 - $115 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications School experience Teamwork Education Literacy education Teaching English language arts English Full Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Language Arts Teacher to join our General Studies team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and comprehensive language arts instruction for tenth- and eleventh-grade students at a private boarding high school in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The candidate will be responsible for implementing rigorous and grade-appropriate instruction for two 45-minute sections of Language Arts (2:30 pm - 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday) with the potential for return in the 2027-2028 academic year for up to a full five-period schedule. Your passion for teaching, combined with your expertise in curriculum development and classroom management, will inspire students to develop their reading and writing skills and confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys while working within a supportive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities Develop and implement lessons aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring clear learning objectives for each class session (lesson plans not required) Deliver engaging language arts lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive, respectful learning environment that promotes student engagement. Assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support. Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student performance in accordance with school policies. Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Prior classroom experience, preferably in teaching math at the middle school or high school levels Strong knowledge of instructional best practices in math education Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Excellent communication skills to effectively engage students, parents, and colleagues Demonstrated ability to adapt instruction for diverse learners Join us in shaping young minds through inspiring math instruction!
