Tessa International School is a fast-growing, high-quality bilingual school located in Hoboken, New Jersey, just one stop from Manhattan. We offer three language immersion tracks—Spanish, French, and Mandarin—and are accredited by the International Baccalaureate (IB) and the French Ministry of Education. We are also recognized as a NAIS model school. We are seeking passionate, reflective, and dedicated Early Childhood educators to join our team and help our youngest learners grow academically, socially, and emotionally in a bilingual, inquiry-based environment. As one of our English Primary Lead Teachers, you will teach two primary classes in alternation with a target language Lead Teacher. By joining our vibrant educational community, you will play a key role in shaping the learning journey of our students, with a strong focus on academic excellence and social-emotional development. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, inspiring enthusiasm and academic excellence in line with IB and state standards. Differentiate instruction using a variety of developmentally appropriate teaching and assessment methods to meet the needs of all learners. Monitor and support the academic, emotional, and social development of students. Maintain high expectations for student behavior to ensure a positive and productive classroom environment. Integrate technology meaningfully to enhance student learning. Foster a strong sense of community by actively engaging with students, colleagues, and families. Collaborate constructively with colleagues, leadership, and staff across the school. Pursue ongoing professional growth and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. Participate in curriculum development, team planning, and faculty meetings. Perform additional duties as assigned. Fluency in spoken and written English Authorization to work in the U.S. Master's degree in Education or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of Elementary/Primary school experience Experience with the IB PYP and/or dual language programs preferred
