7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher Middle Village, NY 11379 $70,630
Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned ELA instruction grounded in NYS Next Generation Learning Standards. Develop rigorous lesson plans, units, and assessments that support diverse learners. Use data to inform instruction and differentiate learning to meet student needs. Create a positive, inclusive, and academically focused classroom environment. Teach reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through a variety of texts and instructional strategies. Provide timely and meaningful feedback on student work to support growth. Collaborate regularly with grade-level and content teams to plan instruction and analyze student data. Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff regarding student progress and expectations. Participate in professional development and contribute to a collaborative school culture. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred. Valid New York State teaching certification in ELA (Grades 7-12 or equivalent). Experience working with middle school students.perferred
