Teacher The Position The Voorheesville Central School District has an opening for a full time probationary position for an English as a New Language (ENL) Teacher. The vision of the Voorheesville Central School District is to create an engaging and supportive community of learning where everyone can participate and thrive at their highest potential. As our population of English language learners grows, we seek a candidate who is knowledgeable, adaptable, and flexible. The candidate should have experience working with students of all ages and English proficiency levels. Salary and benefits are per the VTA contract. Position begins September 1, 2026. General Duties Develop language goals based on student needs and use data to target instruction and monitor progress Coordinate instruction with classroom teachers to ensure student achievement Work collaboratively with the Director of Curriculum to strengthen the ENL program Administer and score state assessments as needed Act as a liaison between the district and the ELL families Job Qualifications New York State Teaching certificate in TESOL required Experience working with all ages of students preferred Strong understanding of NYSED's ELA Next Generation Standards Application Procedure Include a letter of interest in the position.
