Position Overview:

English Teacher As a graduation requirement, English courses prepare students for grade level education, critical thinking and computation, and engaging in real world problem-solving. Responsible for teaching a full course load (six periods with one prep period daily) of English courses. Actual level of English will be determined with the English department. Develops syllabus, grading expectations, course sequence, title and all course details in conjunction with the building leadership, department and counseling team. Develops a caring and nurturing classroom environment where all students can contribute to the community, learn, express questions/concerns/thoughts, and deepen their growth as a life-long learner. Follow building guidance regarding parental communication, classroom management norms, and PBIS expectations. With the building leadership and grade level teams, write, implement, and evaluate Crew lessons. Develop your Crew class culture such that the school's mission, vision and core values are reflected. Staff members often have additional responsibilities and duties to help the school function safely and effectively. This is at the discretion of the building leadership team and is fairly shared across the instructional team. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree Valid Ohio Educator License related to instructional area Pass BCI and FBI background check Pass Educator Licensure conduct review

Compensation:
