Job Description

Full-Time English Position for 2026-2027
School Year:
Notre Dame Academy of Toledo is accepting applications for a full-time English teacher beginning in August 2026. Candidates must demonstrate a passion for English instruction in a rigorous, all-female, college-preparatory environment permeated with Gospel values.
Desirable Characteristics:
Candidates must possess experience with English instruction. Must contribute to a high-quality, standards-based curriculum. Actively participate in the larger English education discipline. Provide challenging, rigorous learning experiences for students with various teaching methodologies. Must teach students how to analyze and think critically, emphasizing modeling, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
Express commitment to Catholic Values Valid Ohio or Michigan Teacher's License Bachelor's degree in English education 7-12 Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Sensitivity to and acceptance of diverse cultures and individuals Strong computer literacy skills and willingness to learn technology in an educational setting
