• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with state standards for English Language Arts.
• Create lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies, including differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects, providing timely feedback to students and parents.
• Integrate technology and multimedia resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding academic expectations and student performance.
• Support the social and emotional development of students through mentoring and guidance.

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Valid teaching license or certification for middle school English Language Arts.

• Experience working with middle school students preferred.
