Keith Valley Middle School is looking for a Language Arts teacher with proven success in the delivery of rich core content that allows students to think critically, solve complex problems, work collaboratively, and be effective communicators. The ideal candidate will be able to plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for all children. We are looking for a teaching candidate who: Demonstrates knowledge of structured literacy and helping students improve their research, reading and writing skills. Has the ability to design and deliver engaging, differentiated lesson plans that meet diverse learning needs. Is skilled in using formative and summative assessments to guide instruction and measure student growth. Is familiarity with integrating technology into instruction. Has strong classroom management skills that foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment. Is committed to supporting students' social-emotional growth alongside academic achievement. Is willing to collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary projects, and school-wide initiatives. Is open to feedback and a growth mindset toward continuous professional development. Has strong communication skills for engaging with students, parents, and fellow educators. Teaching experience at the middle school level and a degree in education, English, or a related field required. Candidate must have valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate for middle school certification.
