SAT English Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SAT English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English, particularly in SAT preparation, and a passion for helping students achieve high scores. This role involves designing and delivering effective SAT Reading and Writing lessons, assessing student progress, and providing targeted feedback to improve their performance.

Responsibilities:

Teach SAT Reading and Writing strategies to students, ensuring comprehension of key concepts, including grammar, vocabulary, and passage analysis. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the SAT exam structure and best practices. Analyze student performance through practice tests and assessments to provide individualized support and feedback. Familiarize students with SAT question types, test-taking strategies, and time management techniques. Create and distribute practice materials, worksheets, and mock exams to reinforce learning. Stay updated with the latest changes to the SAT exam format and scoring criteria. Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, strengths, and areas for improvement. Foster a supportive and motivating learning environment to boost student confidence.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

Experience:

Prior experience teaching SAT English or standardized test preparation is preferred. Strong knowledge of SAT Reading and Writing section content and strategies. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs and learning styles. Experience using digital tools and online platforms for test prep (if applicable).
