About Charleston Bilingual Academy:
In partnership with parents, CBA exists to inspire world changers through Christ-centered, intercultural, immersion-based education. We are a Spanish-immersion and intercultural, Christ-centered Academy located in North Charleston, SC. Through a project-based approach, CBA engages children's language geniuses and various cultures, carving characters, instilling the love of God, and equipping intellects, in an effort to inspire children to impact lives around them regardless of linguistic and cultural barriers. Each year we see God growing our school to add another grade. We are constantly reviewing applications for preschool, elementary, and middle school teachers and assistants.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification preferred. Previous classroom teaching experience preferred. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Passion for working with children and supporting their academic growth. Commitment to the mission and values of Christian education.
Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and instruction for a 5th Grade English classroom, supporting the mission, vision, and expected student outcomes of Charleston Bilingual Academy. Plan, implement, assess, and communicate instructional programs that promote academic excellence and student growth. Teach English Language Arts, including reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literature, using engaging and effective instructional practices. Create a dynamic learning environment that fosters students' linguistic, cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and cultural development. Develop creative and interactive lessons that capture students' attention through discussion, storytelling, hands-on learning, and collaboration. Integrate biblical truth and Christian values into daily instruction, classroom culture, and student relationships. Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular feedback to students and parents. Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that encourages learning and character development. Build strong partnerships with parents by communicating regularly and actively involving them in their child's educational journey. Collaborate with fellow teachers, administrators, and staff to support student success and strengthen the school community. Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, school events, and other duties as assigned. Model Christ-like character and professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
