English as a Second Language Instructor

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and passionate English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor to empower learners from diverse backgrounds to achieve their language goals. Duties Provide personalized tutoring and classroom instruction, adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles, including those with visual impairments or in deaf education contexts. Coach fellow teachers on effective classroom management, instructional strategies, and the integration of new learning technology tools. Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a respectful and inclusive space conducive to adult language education. Requirements Proven experience in teaching ESL or adult language education, with a strong background in classroom management and lesson planning. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of bilingual education practices, literacy education, and working with students with diverse learning needs. Strong organizational skills for tutoring sessions, classroom activities, and teacher coaching initiatives.
