Job Description

Summary:
Primary responsibility is to teach English at the high school level.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with an English endorsement. License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes: Completed an approved teacher preparation program in English; Hold a bachelor's degree in English from an accredited institute;
Salary:
Range based on the 2025-2026 Teacher Salary Scale is $53,000 - $82,843 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. Fully licensed successful candidate is eligible for a $5,000 signing incentive. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the 2026-2027 school board budget.
Workday:
Full-time/200 days/7 hour a day
