Job Overview:

RISE is seeking a passionate and dedicated English and Literature Teacher for middle and high school to inspire students through reading, writing, discussion, and critical analysis of literature. The ideal candidate will foster a love for language and storytelling while helping students develop strong communication, analytical, and writing skills.

Responsibilities:

✅ Teach core English and literature skills including reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and literary analysis through engaging lesson plans. ✅ Introduce students to a range of literary genres and texts that encourage thoughtful discussion and reflection. ✅ Incorporate Islamic values and ethical perspectives where appropriate. ✅ Differentiate instruction to support students with various learning styles and abilities. ✅ Encourage critical thinking and strong written and verbal communication through essays, projects, and discussions. ✅ Implement the RISE Student Learner Profile to foster intellectual curiosity and personal growth. ✅ Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities. ✅ Maintain strong classroom management and build positive relationships with students. ✅ Participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field. ✔ Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to serve as a positive role model. ✔ Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
