Position Description The Environmental Studies Department at the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) invites applications for an ongoing pool of lecturers who may be appointed to teach courses in the following areas: natural history, climate change biology, chemistry, landscape ecology, tropical ecology, animal ecology, pest management, agroecology and food systems, ornithology, entomology, conservation biology, restoration ecology, plant ecology, plant disease ecology, soil biology, wetland ecology, environmental policy, environmental economics, water processes and policy, environmental writing, political ecology, political economy, geography, energy politics and policy, environmental law, coastal policy, environmental risks and vulnerability, environmental justice, and environmental art. The campus is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the inclusive excellence of the academic community through their teaching and other assigned duties.
