Job Description

Pittsburgh Theological Seminary invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin in July 2026.The ideal candidate will specialize in one or more of the following areas: missional leadership, congregational studies, world Christianity, and/or Christian formation. The candidate selected for this position will be a scholar of demonstrable potential; who is dedicated to the church's life and work; exhibits a theological hospitality in their teaching and research; and who seeks to join other faculty and staff as members of a larger team dedicated to a shared mission. This is a two-year, non-tenure track position, which includes generous salary and benefits and on campus housing.
