Professoriate Staff Applications are invited for appointment as Professor of Practice in the Faculty of Arts (Ref.: 536126), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as Literature, Cultural Studies, Archaeology, Conservation Science, Heritage Studies, Art History, and Museum Studies, and have a distinguished record of professional practice. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of 15 years of sustained professional excellence, an established reputation and leadership in relevant professional organizations, and significant achievements recognized either locally or internationally. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in the practice and theory of fields related to cultural and heritage studies, conversation, art history or museum studies, along with a proven track record of excellence in teaching, curriculum development, and knowledge exchange. Experience in mentoring, a strong professional network, and a collegial commitment to the Faculty and University service are essential. The appointee will contribute to the Faculty's academic mission in the relevant strategic areas, including teaching and programme development, supervising student projects, supporting internships and co-curricular activities, and undertaking relevant administrative duties. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, together with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 15% of basic salary.
