Position description The Master of Climate Solutions program (MCS) in the Rausser College of Natural Resources at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a one-year pool of qualified temporary lecturers to teach courses with a focus area of Climate Solutions. When a need arises, we seek lecturers who can teach/co-teach lecture, seminar, and/or laboratory courses in climate solutions, at the graduate levels. MCS is committed to creating an inclusive environment, one that is supportive of all individuals, regardless of background. The program seeks candidates who can support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy.General Duties:
In addition to teaching responsibilities, general duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.Labor Contract :

Preferred qualifications The completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent international degree Documented experience in teaching one of the biological sciences at the college level is strongly preferred.
