Position Summary The Quantum New Mexico Institute (QNM-I) is currently looking for a Post Doctoral Fellow to join their team of outstanding researchers. The duties of this position will include developing quantum algorithms tailored for noise resilience and thermodynamic efficiency. It will also include the study of tradeoffs that result from optimizing protocols to minimize thermodynamic cost or optimize noise resilience. This work will be performed in person at UNM. In addition to those duties, this position will be expected to contribute to research programs in Dr Ivan Deutsch's group by working collaboratively with graduate and undergraduate students, as well as Dr Deutsch. Miscellaneous research related tasks may be assigned as available based on departmental needs.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in discipline by the start date of appointment
