Job Description

Graduate Assistant in Sport Management The University of Dubuque is a growing faith-based University that is seeking a Graduate Assistant in Sport Management for the 2026-2027 term, with a potential renewal for 2027-2028.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support associated with instruction (instructor of record) Program assessment assistance Sport Management Club administration and leadership Master of Management in Sport Management (MMSM) recruitment/marketing Perform other duties in support of the
University's Mission Requirements:
Bachelor's degree is required (a sport management/sport administration/business discipline is preferred), and the position is conditional based on acceptance into University of Dubuque Masters' program Proficiency in Microsoft Office Be enrolled full-time (typically at least six credit hours during the fall or spring semesters, or at least three hours during the summer session) Be in good academic standing Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects at a given time Utilize excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal All graduate tuition is waived for the student for the term in which they serve as a GA. In return for a waiver of tuition, the assistantship recipient agrees to provide service to the University equivalent to twenty (20) hours per week.
