Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a substitute teacher or tutor is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset. Ability to easily adapt and provide flexible support based on classroom needs. Substituting certificate is highly desirable. Some background supporting inclusive classrooms or diverse learning environments is a plus. Reliable, responsible, and committed to fostering positive student outcomes.
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver hands-on support to classroom teachers to implement instructional plans. Help maintain a productive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment. Assist with classroom organization, student engagement, and learning activities. Provide individualized attention to students as directed by the teacher. Contribute to the creation of a welcoming learning space. Flexibly respond to the day-to-day academic and social needs of students.
