years. Description & Details -Tentative Duties:
Coordinating Tech for Tomorrow Academies within USDA grant. Co-leading Leadership Scholars coursework and activities. Curriculum planning related to Tech for Tomorrow Academies in collaboration with Agricultural and Family Education faculty and graduate students. Event planning and oversight of program logistics for the Tech for Tomorrow Academies. Facilitate the completion and monitoring of USDA grant program objectives and reporting requirements. Lead program evaluation of the Tech for Tomorrow Academies and Leadership Scholars program. Assist with teaching and assessing P2 and TLO candidates' coursework. Develop research projects related to career decisions and choice in agriculture. Assist with research projects as assigned by advisor(s). Assist with the teaching of Agricultural and Family Education department coursework and supervising teaching candidates. Assist with other duties as assigned by advisor(s). Depending upon the content focus of the candidate, activities/duties would be tailored to fit those needs to best develop them into a future faculty member.Work Schedule:
20 hours/week.Advertised Pay:
$30,000 (12 mo) Doctoral-Seeking (PhD); or $22,000 (12 mo) Master's-seeking (M.S.). Summer stipend may tentatively be supported by co-teaching summer courses or other funding.Minimum Qualifications:
3 years of secondary school teaching experience. Experience developing curriculum.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading youth and adults in educational programming. Background or interest in leadership development. Background in or interest in agricultural technology (precision agriculture, biotechnology).
