These positions are ideal for students who are seeking their Master's degree and interested in enhancing their teaching and facilitation skills. As a teaching assistant, you will work under the guidance of a course instructor to provide essential support to students, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities may include the following:

Attend all scheduled lectures to stay aligned with course content and teaching objectives. Conduct lab sessions, including preparing materials, assisting students, and ensuring a supportive lab environment. Grade student assignments, providing constructive feedback and tracking performance as directed by the course instructor. Proctor and grade exams held outside of scheduled class hours, ensuring integrity and fair assessment. Provide additional support to students as needed, which may include holding office hours or assisting with review sessions. Collaborate with the supervising course instructor on course-related tasks and other duties as assigned. Work Schedule Varies Additional Duties Required Qualifications Current full-time enrollment in a relevant Master's program at UNO. Strong understanding of assigned class and excellent academic standing in related coursework. Effective communication skills and a supportive attitude toward student learning. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines for grading and other duties. UNO graduate GPA of at least 3.5 Completed all foundation requirements for a College of IS&T graduate program.
