Full-time We are recruiting a full-time Teaching Assistant for a specialist school in Newport. This role is particularly suited to individuals with experience in care/ residential settings who are looking to move into education and support young people with ALN. About the School The school supports pupils with a range of additional learning needs (ALN), including autism, social, emotional and behavioural needs, and complex learning difficulties. It offers a structured, supportive environment with a strong focus on consistency, routine, and individual development. The Role You will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them engage with learning and develop independence. This role is ideal for anyone considering a career in teaching, educational psychology, or further work within care or support services.
