Job Description

TheAdjunctInstructorBusiness Office Managementhasresponsibilitiesthatinclude, but are not limited to, teachingaccountingcourses and completing all duties associated with teaching.

Assigned classesmayoccurduring theday, evening, and/or onlinewith varying teaching locationsincludingon-campus, dual enrollment, and Early College High School. This ispositionreportstoLSCPA'sBusiness and Industrial TechnologyDepartment. Provide quality instruction Exhibit commitment and involvement inthe development, implementation, and assessment of curriculum based onprogram, department and college goals andobjectives Attend faculty meetings Maintain current knowledge,expertise, and safety in the subject areas of teaching responsibilityalong with broader higher education matters and trends Respond to students,facultyand staff ina timelyand professional manner Comply withcampus policies and procedures Otherrelated duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Office Administration or Business-related field, from a regionally accredited college or university Four (4) years of experience in the field Work independently in the classroom Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint Possess great time management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Blackboard or other computerized teaching systems Teaching experience in higher education Teaching experience at a two-year college
Physical Requirements:
Duties may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required to ensure effective instruction and safe supervision of students in classroom and/or laboratory settings.
Work Hours:
Flexible, part-time;depending upon class schedule.
