About the Role An Assistant Guide supports the Lead Guide in a studio serving early learners (Pre-K through 1st grade). This is a hands-on, classroom-based role focused on supporting students, maintaining a strong and prepared environment, and learning the foundations of guiding. This role is ideal for individuals exploring a path in education or looking for meaningful part-time or full-time work in a classroom setting. What You'll Do Support daily classroom activities, including work cycles, group time, and transitions Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students as they build foundational skills Help maintain a calm, organized, and prepared learning environment Reinforce studio systems, routines, and expectations with consistency Assist with classroom setup, materials, and daily operations Build positive relationships with students and contribute to a strong classroom culture What Makes This Role Different Work in a mission-driven school with highly engaged families Be part of a small, close-knit team with strong culture Gain hands-on experience in a progressive, student-centered model Opportunity to grow into more advanced guiding roles over time Qualifications No formal teaching experience required Strong reliability, organization, and attention to detail Comfortable working with young children in a structured environment Strong communication and teamwork skills You May Be a
