JFNTMP JOB TITLE
Botany & Biodiversity Intern
JOB PURPOSE
Botany & Biodiversity Intern in the Williams Conservatory and Biodiversity Institute
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be expected to work in indoor and outdoor growing environments performing manual labor: Weed removal; Miscellaneous plant care in greenhouse and outdoor settings; Data collection; Assist with workshops and tours; Assist with the installation of public displays; Assist in leading volunteers; Assist in updating publicly accessible teaching materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in a public setting May be required to work flexible hours, including some weekends Ability to work independently after receiving proper training
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Botanical or horticultural experience preferred
