Job Description

The Core Faculty Adjunct / Family Medicine Physician serves as a clinical educator and practicing physician responsible for teaching, mentoring, and supervising learners while providing high-quality, patient-centered family medicine care. This role supports the academic mission through curriculum delivery, resident/student supervision, scholarly activity, and participation in program development, while maintaining an active clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities include:
Provide comprehensive family medicine care across the lifespan of an outpatient and/or inpatient setting, as needed. Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care aligned with organizational and regulatory standards. Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR). Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills in Family Medicine. Proficiency with EHR systems and educational technologies.
Teaching and Student Supervision:
Collaborate with the Program Director to contribute to the Core Family Medicine Curriculum and oversee specific areas of the curriculum. Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to the residents and medical students. Supervise learners in clinical settings, providing direct observation, feedback, and evaluation. Contribute to curriculum development, implementation, and continuous improvement. Support accreditation requirements and compliance (e.g., ACGME, LCME, or applicable standards). All other duties as assigned.
